How to report problem with route

Post by Jonte » Wed Nov 08, 2017 3:22 pm

Before you report any problem, make sure you are using the latest gpx.
You find the latest one here: http://www.transeurotrail.org/sweden

You can either mail the problem to: S@transeurotrail.org or write in this thread.

Make sure you include:
  • GPS coordinates
  • Problem description
  • Picture is always good
  • If possible an alternative route you have verified

The 50 kms of part of part two has a few inaccuracies, with gps track vs. Actual road.
No biggie, it can be dealt with.

But at one point it is a dead end leading you to go through what is part of some “walking track”-leden. I don’t know if that is allowed, it is only for about 2 kms, but I’m sure it will piss someone off as we are heading into hiking season and it is a trail that will be worn out in no time with big ADV bikes going through.

There is a passage through what is signed as a private lodging road, doubt that will be much of an issue. Even a GS won’t make as much of a mess as a forest tractor Image

It could be considered to link through the Helsingør - Helsingborg ferry instead of the bridge from Denmark, the first couple of hours coming up from Malmö is pretty densely populated.

The road looks OK to me. Where there any sign?

We took decision to use the bridge Malmö-Köpenhamn.

Thanks for your input.

This is not the road that was signed, this is part of Hallandsleden and is blocked with big rocks on either end, but the trail goes through. The gps coordinates mark that part.

Let med look at the route in more detail and I will figure out ehich was the road with the sig”privat väg”.

Edit: not hallandsleden, but a similar hiking only trail.

Hit it hard in 3rd and you’ll be all right ;-) :-p

Anyway, when coming into “Hörle” go “straight” west* to cross the railway.
It’s actually a right (North) and then left (west) after 50-100meters, it takes you on a small paved road and then then back to the dirt route.
