Suitable for new rider???

Post by scrapy » Wed May 22, 2019 7:35 am

Hi guys

I am planning to go next week. Entering the TET at Lugano. I havent decided yet if i will go East or West. Whats your advice for a new rider (offroad), solo on a 800cc bike. Are there sections you would avoid completely? Are the passes on the West open already?

Thanks

I have been researching this part of the TET.
I discovered the the western part from Lugano contains more offroad than the eastern part

Do you have any source of info about passes?
I am planning to leave mid June to do the western part of the Italy TET and would be good to know this.
Thanks

at present all alpine passes seams ok , with exception of the very high ones 2800-3000 mt .
I am planning with some friends the west track ,aprox ,on 18-19-20 june , starting from Garessio , going to Sestrier .
we might meet each other or if you want to team up ,it should be ok for me .
