Dear all
I am thinking about doing these tree countries this summer. I´d like to dig more Info about the percetage of tarmac roads, cos I am riding an enduro bike.
Anyone with ecperience could gimme a hand?

Carissimi
Sto pensando di fare questi paesi albero quest'estate. Mi piacerebbe scavare più informazioni sulla percetage delle strade asfaltate, perché sto guidando su una bici da enduro.
Chiunque abbia esperienza potrebbe darmi una mano?

Gracias

Hi kleintone,
I'm going to ride from Piovenne near padova in Italy to greece, I'm going to start mid May. I have re-drawn the track on google earth so I was able to see if the track was offroad or not (thanks to streetview) , and I think you'll have at least 30% of roads, maybe more, I'm not really sure. When I write roads, they are very small and narrow roads in general. Hope this will help you. Remember my track starts in Piovenne which is already further than the half of your trip.

In Slovenia and Croatia you will have about 10% of tarmac. 90% is offroad :-)
Same percentage goes for Bosnia, Montenegro and Albania.

Thanks Dimen, now we know what to expect, better 10% than 30%! Have you ridden the tracks, hard or easy?
What about Italy, has anybody done it?
