Please post pictures of large bikes on French TET

Post by TravelToy » Thu Dec 21, 2017 8:26 pm

Hi All,

I'm planning to ride French TET September '18, starting in Belgium and then continue Trans Pyrenees (east to west).
I'll be on a 2014 Triumph Tiger 800 XC, which for me is a big/heavy bike (215 kg without fuel or luggage).
I'm very interested to see if others did the French TET with heavy bikes and what their experience is.

Thanks in advance.
Chris.

I rode Dieppe to the Loire valley return in a very soggy April on an XT1200 Yamaha , with my son on a Husky 701. Muddy but rideable, no falls and only 1 push each. That section has a lot of tracks across open fields which were the worst. It will be MUCH easier if dry.

Hello @TravelToy. Any feedback on your experience? I'm planning to do the same this summer, (same bike)
Thank you!

I did TET NL-DE-DK-SE-NO and back instead. You can read about it https://christianbailleul.wordpress.com ... uro-trail/.
France will have to wait until 2021 and I will most likely take a smaller bike (KTM 690)
