If you don't care for leatherman specific but a multi-tool in general, I'm using a Victorynox SwissTool X for the last 10 years and it is still as brand new after a lot of bashing and drugging around in all my outdoor (and many times indoor) activities.

I have the Leatherman Wave, had it for over 15 years, great bit of kit, has been very useful a few times. Just love the quality and feel of it. Think they will last a lifetime if looked after so worth the money!!

Leatherman will last a lifetime. I broke the nose off one of mine and it was replaced without question.

Same thing here, though having mine (do not know if it's the same model) for 18 years now, still acting as on the first day. It wen't through huge amount of mtb-ing, long distance cycling trips, motorcycle travelling (on and off road), climbing, adventure racing etc etc.

cheers

Leatherman Wave has been my choice for the past 15 years. I lost my first one and replaced it immediately. It does lack a corkscrew!!!

Thank you for all the responses, so it looks like I shall be adding the wave to my kit, I shall have to be a good boy now so hopefully one will turn up under Christmas tree. 😂😂😂🎁

Love my Wave, black oxide version... Almost too sexy...

Also carry a Victorinox Outrider. Can't be too prepared - armageddon and zombie invasions and such...
