UK - app with free offline ordnance survey mapping

Backcountry Navigator ( bith free and paid for apps) allows you to down load 1:50k and 1:25k OS mapping and to import gpx files giving you the TET UK overlaid on OS mapping.
A much cheaper alternative to viewranger et als OS map offerings

Looks like this is a great alternative to using viewranger on the UK trails with free downloadable OS mapping an ability to make the TET track very visible.
Attached below are a couple of screenshots

In a some weeks time, I will go for a few days of riding in the north of England. I have looked at the OS Maps app, and it looks great. Importing the TET UK gpx-file into the OS Maps app would give a great insight in the route. So far, I have been on the free subscription of the app, for evaluation. When I want to import the TET UK route file, the warning is that I can't make private routes out of the file (as a limitation of the free subscription). This would effectively make the routes non-private, probably public to other registered users. With that, I would be republishing the TET route, which is not allowed. Will go for a paid subscription later this month, so probably I can then create private TET-routes in the app. Any thoughts on this?

If you use the Backcountry Navigator app on an android phone then OS maps are free and can be cached. The gpxs stay on the phone so all is good.
