Got an android device you want to use as a GPS? Wondering what the best app to use is? Take the advice of other TET Riders here:

Try OSMAnd+ it has offline maps and is great for trails and offroad.

LocusMaps Pro for general use and trails. Frankly excellent. You get a few free maps to download but pay for extras. Not expensive and well worth it. Easy to customise the screen if you feel the need.
Also for road riding when you want an interesting route between A and B I've found Kurviger to be brilliant.
