Memory Map gives me the whole UK in glorious 1:25k OS detail with TET overlayed on my iPad which I keep in my tank bag, perfect BUT I can’t download the latest version of the Spanush TET to Memory Map for some reason. Is anyone else having the same problem and/or can they help me please?

Downloading GPX Files to Memory Map on an Apple device

Post by Gary » Sat Mar 17, 2018 6:22 pm

If you are having trouble downloading from a Windows Computer to an Apple device I have discovered it does not work to simply import the GPX file directly from your Windows Folders>Downloads (where downloads from transeurotrail.org usually go) to iTunes. You first have to open the GPX file in Memory Map (on your computer) then Overlay>Export it back into the Windows Folders (I assume this introduces the formatting the Apple device requires) ... then you can follow standard instructions to Synch from File Sharing in iTunes to your iPhone.
