Mitas tyres

Post by scrapy » Thu Apr 25, 2019 4:21 pm

Hello. I want to fit my KTM 790 adventure with new tyres to get it TET ready. I will be doing the France and North Italy section probably next month. I was looking at Mitas tyres, mostly because i can get really good deals and they seem to last up to 10000km. Also most reviews are good. I am a bit lost wich ones to get. I was looking into the:

E07 Dakar
E09 Dakar
E10 Dakar

I am leaning towards the E07, which is a 50/50 tyre, mainly because i need to cover lots of highway/street miles to get to the TET. Does anybody has experience with one of those tyres? Will a 50/50 tyre be good enough for the Offroad sections?

Thanks for any replies

EO7 is a great tire that lasts ages but I'd prefer a bit more profile in the tread.
If you're concerned with asphalt, get the EO7+, it's the newest variant and offers more grip off road.
