Hello all, I’m Abijith from India. I rode the Himalayan across Central Asia, Russia, Mongolia and EU over 6 months last year. I also rode the TET along Netherlands, Belgium , France, Slovenia, Croatia and Albania.

The bike is capable of doing it!

Pros - Good Ergonomics, Good Torque
Cons - Soft suspensions, unnecessarily heavy, Lacks power.

P.S - The Chassis of the Himalayan snapped, when I was in Mongolia, in the middle of nowhere along the Northern Route.

Then the company shipped a new frame to Berlin, where I swapped the frame and rode all the way to Iran and shipped it back.

According to me, it’s a very good concept bike but very badly executed.

Hi,

Lots of info on the ADV rider site: https://advrider.com/f/threads/royal-en ... t-36484243

If you haven't already, I'd recommend looking up Nathan Milward's experiences, especially his 16,000 miles on the clock report on youtube -https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IweVez ... 20&list=WL

He's done a few comparisons with bikes like the CRF 250, G310 GS and the baby Versys.

This is another good one, imho: https://youtu.be/RW7Xa-3llxY

I'm quite taken with it, actually. I don't need 100 + bhp, and my ambitions and ability mean I don't need to do anything more technical than gravel roads/tracks/trails, such as those in the Nordic countries.

Just my tuppence worth ...
