Honda CRF250L

Don't like plastic fairings or just don't see the point in stumping up the extra for a Hinda CRF250 Rally?

Tis is the thread for posting TET mods/thoughts/conversations etc on the little red workhorse.

I’m getting my 2018 CRF250L tomorrow. Planning to fit a aluminum bashplate, luggage rack, handguard, usb conector. Want to upgrade the suspension l.

Hi got my new Honda today and prepped it. Love the bike. Will probably go for Pirelli mT21 tyres when OEM is done.

YSS is a decent realistic price for upgrade shock , we have two crfs and got a Hagon on one yss on other , yss Imageas for front you can put a spring kit in the springless fork , you can go dearer but tbh in that case but a wrf , I’ve spent abut on ours , one tooth lesson front sprocket makes it a bit more responsive on trail

I did found this bike just awesome for is price :) I don't like the highway hops, so his ~19hp is enough for me.
Big minus - is ridiculously small fuel tank (7l), which gives it around 200km in an economy mode.
Now I'm preparing it for the ride and to save some money I'll go with a modded motorcycle soft luggage and home-made Rotopax "L-bracket" to give it some more range.

I have installed the rotopax and are next weekend testing the moskomoto reckless 80. It’s a big, but I hope to make it work.Image

I've had the little awesome workhorse for almost three years now, I love it everyday. Recently changed transmission to 13-42 sprockets, from the initial 14-40, the bike has become a lot more responsive and more offroad-inclined. Is anyone aware of suitable good sidebags? I'm planning an intraeuropean trip. Thanks

I use the Kriega Overlander 30 Frameless Paniers.
15Ltr each side, plenty for a week+ trail riding. Easy to remove and pack.
Tent etc on the rear AS Rack.
Works very well.
Great bike the CRF250L.
