Re: Fuel range needed for TET

Re: How to change driving direction of a downloaded TET track

The TomTom Rider is not really suitable for offroad tracks. TomTom will give you nav instructions as long the track follows an official road on the digital map. As soon as the track follows a goat trail that is not on the digital map it will recalculate a route that follows roads and not the TET. Si...

Re: France GPX download

There are several things you can do. The TET GPX file contains a whole bunch of different tracks. However often mapping software can't handle that and only picks one of those. 1- You need to download Garmin Basecamp mapping software to you PC or Mac and then open the downloaded gpx. I have been waiting for it to 'trip' me up, but so far has not done so. and if I do go wrong, the TET line is still visible for me to go back on ! I will carry o...

Re: Need abrassion resistant jersey?!

You can order the Atacama directly from Adventure Spec in the UK. I order stuff there all the time. After all, the UK is Europe for now at least. Klim can be bought all over Europe including fc moto, Adventure Spec, KLIM EU etc The Atacama is a mesh jacket just like the Tactical Pro jersey is a mesh...

Re: Need abrassion resistant jersey?!

Klim Mojave Pro or better the Tactical Pro. Both are mesh with a little padding and extra material on the back of the sleeves and shoulder. I wear them all the time. However, the 'protection' is really meant to protect against branches and such hitting your arms. Don't expect much when you hit the p...

Re: Cheap Smartphone for Navigation

Didado, I just received the Galaxy Tab Active 2 RAM cradle and I'm installing it on my bike, but neither the power connector nor the POGO pins seems to be waterproof. Have yoy ever used it in wet/rainy conditions? Use it in the rain all the time but not with the Pogo. I've never even tried the Pogo...
