Thanks for the replies guys, will review all suggestions. I also have an almost new AC10 rear in the garage which is an option, but looking at it, looks terrible for road traction, and will most likely be doing a couple hundred km on road on the way home.

I'd have a look at the Motoz Tractionator Adventure. Love them on my KTM 690 RFR and super on the road as well as the dirt. But there's no magic bullet!
