Farmhouse to rent on the TET in Catalunya

Hi, I have a lovely 2 bedroom farmhouse available to rent in rural Catalunya. The farm is situated just 450m from the TET, and 6km from the town of Flix. The property is licenced (HUTTE-041430) and legal, sleeps 7 and has plenty of parking should you wish to travel here in a van and use it as a base...

Logo and image copyright

Can the TET logo and images using the TET logo be used in conjunction with a business to promote both the business and the TET without permission, or are they copyrighted?

Re: April/ weather ?

The weather is difficult to predict when you come inland from the coast, particularly outside of the May to September 'dry' season. Sometimes April can be dry, another year you can spend days shin deep in gloopy clay.

Re: General weather Spain in November?

Hi, thats a difficult question to answer as the weather varies quite a lot depending on where in Spain people are. Simon can advise you on the weather in the Pyrenees, I live in Flix, alongside the TET section 17, and April can be somewhat unpredictable. We get rain, and torrential rain, sometimes f...

Re: Charging phone on an olschool kickstart bike without battery

Have you considered a solar backpack? The KTM X-Country Backpack isn't cheap, but it has a solar panel and a 5000mAh battery built in. There are cheaper ones from other manufacturers which don't have a battery, like sunnybag.com . Or you could get a freeloader solar powered battery bank and secure i...

What type of stove?

I've always had gas canister stoves when camping, they're light, clean, easy, but considering riding the TET and other off-road trails, i'm being swayed towards a multifuel stove. The reason being that whilst the bike has fuel, I always have fuel for the stove, and the stove fuel bottle also serves ...

Re: New Mediterranean route in Spain?

We had some Canadians stay with us last year for the MotoGP at Aragon. They didn't mind getting up at 6am to drive an hour to the circuit if it meant they could return to our farm afterwards and enjoy its stunning location. For those attending on bikes, you couldn't wish for a better journey on-road...

Just saying hello

Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself to the TET Spain group. I live in Catalunya, about 300 metres from the new eastern trail as it leaves Flix, Tarragona heading north. I'll be making periodic checks of the route in this area and I will update Simon of any changes/problems I find. If any of you wa...
